2464                            County Local Laws

(2)    The principal vehicular access for such use shall be located
on an arterial or collector street within one-quarter (¼) mile of a
freeway or arterial highway, but shall not be located on a freeway
or local street.

(3)    Such use shall not draw vehicular traffic to or through local
streets in adjacent residential areas.

(4)    Such use shall not be located less than two hundred feet
(200') from a residential district.

(5)    Adequate reservoir space at the vehicular entrance, and
sufficient vehicular entrances and exits shall be provided to prevent
traffic congestion. Separate vehicular entrances and exits shall be
provided, and shall be located not less than one hundred feet (100')
apart, nor less than fifty feet (50') from any street intersection.

(6)    Consideration shall be given to the proximity of bus and
rapid transit facilities to serve such use.

(7)    Automobile parking spaces shall not be located within any
required setback area or less than fifty feet (50') from any lot line.

Section 13-352.33. Storage of Inflammable, Explosive, Incendiary
or Toxic Material.

Storage of inflammable, explosive, incendiary or toxic material
shall be permitted in W3 Heavy Industrial Districts, provided:

(1)    The site upon which such facilities are located shall be
situate not less than one (1) mile from any residential structure or
district.

(2)    Adjacent areas shall be developed with similar land uses
and activity.

(3)    Such storage shall be permitted only on sites measuring not
less than twenty-five (25) acres, and shall be surrounded by a fence
measuring not less than ten feet (10') high with gates to limit access.

(4)    Warning and danger signs shall be posted on all sides of the
property and/or fencing.

(5)    Service to said facilities shall be provided by a major
County arterial road.

(6)    Said use shall not be located less than fifty feet (50') from
any property line.

(7)    Explosive material shall be stored underground.

(8)    The site plan and fire safety measures for the operation of
the facility shall be approved by the Anne Arundel County Fire
Department and the State Fire Marshal.

Section 12-352.34. Tanneries.

Tanneries shall be permitted by special exception in W3 Heavy
Industrial Districts, provided the release of odorous matter across
