THE TOWN OF OXFORD

TO AMEND CHARTER TO PROVIDE THAT SALARY OF
COMMISSIONERS SHALL NOT BE SET BY ORDINANCE BUT SHALL
BE SET FORTH IN THE CHARTER AND THAT COMMENCING AS OF
JULY 1, 1974, THE SALARY OF COMMISSIONERS SHALL BE
INCREASED FROM $100.00 PER YEAR TO $500.00 PER YEAR

Resolution of the Town of Oxford, adopted pursuant to authority of Article
11-E of the Constitution of Maryland, and Section 13 of Article 23-A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, as amended, title "Corporations - Municipal,"
sub-title "Home-Rule," sub-heading "Charter Amendments", to amend Section 5,
"The Commission" of the Charter of the Town of Oxford to provide that the
salary of commissioners may no longer be set by Ordinance and to establish said
salary at $500.00 per year commencing as of July 1, 1974.

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED by The Town of Oxford that the Charter of
The Town of Oxford, as amended be and the same is hereby amended and revised
to read as follows:

Sec. 5. Salary of Commissioners.

Each Commissioner shall receive an annual salary which shall be equal for all
Commissioners and shall be [as specified from time to time by an ordinance passed by
the Commission in the regular course of its business] FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
