2396                                    MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

feet, (9) North 88°39' West 447.35 feet to the place of beginning, containing 12.107
acres of land as laid down and described on the aforesaid plat.

All persons residing in the area to be annexed and their property shall be added
to the Corporate boundaries subject to the provisions of the Municipal
Corporation Charter of the Town of Princess Anne (as set forth in The Code of
the Public Local Laws of Somerset County, 1963 Edition, Section 150, Et. Seq., as
the same may be amended from time to time) and all ordinances applying to said
Municipality.

PROVIDED that public notice thereof shall be published no fewer than four (4)
times at not less than weekly intervals in a newspaper of general circulation in the
Town of Princess Anne and the area to be annexed.

A Public Hearing on this Resolution shall be held on

WEDNESDAY

6TH OF SEPTEMBER, 1972
AT 8 O'CLOCK P. M.

at the Town Office for Princess Anne.

Following the Public Hearing, The President and Commissioners of Princess
Anne may proceed to enact the Resolution, and it shall become effective no less
than Forty-five (45) days following its final enactment.

RISING SUN

(Cecil County)

Amendment Number Four (4) to the Charter of the Town of Rising Sun, said
Amendment entitled "Elimination of Requirement that a member of the Board of
Commissioners in his own right, or in the right of his wife, own taxable property in
the Town".

The amendment consists of the deletion of certain words from Sec. 31-2 of the
charter of the Town of Rising Sun contained in Chapter 31, Code of Cecil County,
Maryland, 1970 edition as amended, as follows (deleted words shown in double
