AMENDMENT No. 1

On pages 3 and 4 of the printed bill   under the heading

"Payments of Revenue to Civil Divisions of  the State" and in

the program entitled "State Aid for Police  Protection Fund,"

strike lines 148 through 149 and insert in   lieu thereof the

words "the enactment of Senate Bill 597  and/or House Bill
1113."

AMENDMENT No. 2

On page 14 of the printed bill under the heading "Board
of Public Works" strike out the entire program entitled
"Peabody Loan" beginning on line 781 through the unnumbered
line following line 798.

On page 28 of the printed bill under the heading

"Salary Review" in the program entitled "Salary

Adjustments," strike the numerals "5,106,000" and insert in
lieu thereof "5,331,000".

AMENDMENT No. 4

On page 43 of the printed bill under the heading "Mass
Transit Administration" and in the program entitled
"Metropolitan Transit System" strike the numerals
"76,974,121" and "11,160,800" and "88,134,921" and insert in
lieu thereof the numerals "76,230,121", and "8,184,800" and
"84,414,921" respectively.
