       I hereby certify that the Bearer hereof
a yellow man ^by the name of Thomas Briard^ aged about twenty seven
years about five feet ten inches
high having two flesh moles on his
breast one of his right and the
other on his left breast and another
on the Back of his right hand is
a free man being the Descendant
of a free woman by the name
of Ally Foard
