       I hereby certify that the bearer hereof
       Negro Benneto about twenty five years
       old about five feet nine and a half
       Inches high having several scratches
       about his right eye is a free man and
       became entitled to her freedom by virtue
       of a Deed of manumission from Hezekiah
       Wheeler bearing date the 22.d day of June
       1805 & duly acknowledged & recorded in Liber
       J R M N.o 11 pages 55 &c one of the Land
       records of said county

                In testimony &c      A Beall clk
       Certificate granted
       Jany 8.th 1820

       and proved to my satisfaction that the bearer
       hereof a Black woman who calls herself Becky
       Plummer about thirty years of age five feet
       six ^and an half^ in his high dark complexion no visible
       scars is the daughter of a free man of colour
       named Capt Plummer and Milly his wife
