|134| Maryland Prince Georges County to wit I hereby certify that I have received satisfactory evidence that the Bearer hereof a Black Man (who calls himself) Colly [illegible] about fifty years of age about five feet 6 Inches high having the Little toe of his right foot cut off is a free man and became entitled to his freedom by virtue of a Deed of Manumission from Hezekiah Wheeler duly acknowledged & recorded in Liber J R M N.o 11 pages 55 &c one of the Land records of said county In Testimony &c A Beall clk Certificate granted Jan.y 8.th 1820 Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t I hereby certify that the Bearer hereof a Black man named Levi who calls himself Levi Loggins about twenty three years of age about five feet seven Inches high having no perceivable scars is a free man & became entitled to his freedom by virtue of a Deed of manumission from Hezekiah Wheeler bearing date the 22.d of June 1805 & duly acknowledged and recorded in Liber J R M N.o 11 pages 55 &c one of the Land records of said County certificate In testimony &c A Beall Clk granted Jany 8.th 1820 |
