       Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

       I hereby certify that oswall Bryon
       of Prince Georges County having come and
       proved to my satisfaction that the
       bearer hereof a Black man who
       calls himself Howson Thomas about
       twenty three years of age five feet
       four inches high black complexion
       thick lips full face scar on
       the right side of his fall appears
       to have had a finger cut from each
       hand and has no toes on either foot
       is the identified person named in a
       certain Deed or manumission executed
       by Hezekiah Wheeler on the twenty
       second of June Eighteen hundred
       and five and recorded in Liber
       J R M folio 55 one of the Prince
       Georges County Land Records that
