       State of Maryland Prince Georges County Sc.t

                           I hereby certify that negro Mary Ann (Otherwise called
       Mary Ann Darnall the bearer hereof a Yellow complected woman
       about nineteen years of age five feet five inches high rather lively
       has no perceivable marks or scars that the said Mary Ann is a
       free woman and was set free by William Moreton of the County
       aforesaid as by Manumission duly recorded in my office the
       Seventh day of December Eighteen hundred and thirteen

                                    In Testimony whereof I have hereto subscribed
             (seal)               my name and affixed the seal of Prince Georges
                                    County Court this fourth day of June 1826
