       The State of Maryland Prince Georges County sc.t

            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a
       Mulatto Girl by the name of Eliza Mahorney
       about seventeen years old five feet two Inches
       high very much marked in the face by the
       small pox and who was raised in the County
       aforesaid is free and became entitled to her
       freedom by Deed duly executed and acknowledged
       by Francis M. Hall and Recorded among the
       Records of my office
      
                            In Testimony whereof I do hereunto
                            subscribe my name and affixed the
                            seal of Prince Georges County Court
       (Seal)            this fourth day of July in the year
                            of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
                            and sixteen
