       high having a scar on his breast (who was
       born the slave of the late Robert Waters and
       raised in his family)  is a free man and
       obtained his freedom from the said Robert
       Waters by deed bearing date the twenty seventh
       day of February in the year seventeen hundred
       and ninety eight duly executed acknowledged
       and recorded in my office
