       daughter of Cate Gray of the County
       aforesaid a free woman of Colour
                   In Testimony whereof I do hereunto
       (seal)    subscribe my name and affix the
                   seal of the said County Court this
       twenty Eighth day of April in the year of
       our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
       Eighteen

       certify that the bearer hereof Ann a Black     
       Girl about seventeen years of age five feet
       four or five inches high with a scar on
       the right wrist occasioned by the cut of a

       daughter of Cleo who was manumitted by
       Benjamin Clarke of said County by Deed
       bearing date the sixth day of October in the
       year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and Eighty
