SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

118B.

(A) A RETAIL DEALER UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ARTICLE
SHALL POST IN CONSPICUOUS PLACES IN THE RETAIL DEALER'S PLACE OF
BUSINESS 3 SIGNS CONTAINING THE FOLLOWING:

"MISREPRESENTING YOUR AGE OR USING FALSE

IDENTIFICATION TO OBTAIN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES MAY

RESULT IN A $150 FINE ON CONVICTION FOR A FIRST
OFFENSE AND A $300 FINE ON CONVICTION FOR A SUBSEQUENT

OFFENSE. ARTICLE 27, SECTION 403B. (PREMISES UNDER

SURVEILLANCE BY POLICE AND LIQUOR BOARD INSPECTORS)"

(B) THE SIGNS REQUIRED UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION
SHALL BE PRINTED AND PROVIDED BY THE COMPTROLLER.

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

403A.

(b)  Any person 18 years old or older who violates the
provisions of this subheading shall be issued a citation and be
subject to the provisions of § 403B of this subheading.

403B.

(a) For purposes of this section, a violation of the
provisions of this subheading is deemed a Code violation and is a
civil offense.

(c)  (1) A citation issued under this section shall be
signed by the issuing officer and shall contain:

(i) The name and address of the person charged;

(ii) The person's signature;

(iii) The statute allegedly violated;

(iv) The date, location, and time that the
violation occurred;
