AN AMENDMENT to the Montgomery County Zoning Ordinance for the
purpose of

allowing adult foster care homes for not more
than 3 adults as a permitted use in the
Residential One-Family, R-T, multi-family,
agricultural, CBD and Transportation zones.

allowing respite care homes for not more than 3
elderly or handicapped persons as a permitted
use in; the Residential One-Family, R-T,
multi-family, agricultural, CBD and
Transportation zones.

providing definition for the term "Adult Foster
Care" and "Respite Care Homes."

The following sections of the Montgomery County Zoning
Ordinance, Chapter 59 of the Montgomery County Code
are amended:
