(x) Towson State University; and
(xi) University of Baltimore.

(5)   "Centers" or "Institutes" means the following
components of the University under the jurisdiction of the Board
of Regents:

(i) Center for Environmental and Estuarine
Studies;

(ii) Cooperative Extension Service and the
Agricultural Experiment Station;

(iii) Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical
Services Systems, provided that the patient care or clinical
component of the Institute shall be governed by the Board of
Directors of the Medical System Corporation in accordance with §
13-103(f) of this article;

(iv) Statewide Medical Education and Training
System;

(v) Fire and Rescue Institute; and

(vi) Any other center, component, or institute
established and operated by the University in accordance with its
mission.

(6)   "University" or "University of Maryland" means
the University of Maryland System.
