RESOLUTION of the President and Commissioners of the town of
North East adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XIE of
the Constitution of Maryland and Section 19 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition - 1981 Replacement
Volume 1987 Cum. Sup.) for the enlargement of the corporate
boundaries of said Town by the annexation of certain land
contiguous to and adjoining the existing corporate area by
amending the provision of the Code of Cecil County, Maryland,
Part 2, Chapter 28, which incorporates the Charter of the town of
North East and constituting an amendment to the municipal charter
of the body politic and corporate known as the Town of North
East.

RESOLUTION NO. 01

(ANNEXATION NO. 1 - THIRD STREET SOUTH)

WHEREAS, after informal public meetings, petitions have been
presented to the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Oakland to
enlage the corporate boundaries of the Town by the annexation of
land adjoining and contiguous to the existing corporate
boundaries being the area known as Third Street South; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council have caused to be made a
