State of Maryland    Anne Arundel County to wit
 
I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County do hereby Certify that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named James W
Pointer aged about thirty seven years about five feet Eight
and a half inches high yellow Complexion has a small
Scar on the back of the left hand is the identical person
set free by Wm Brewer Junr D admr B N of Wm J Rawlings
by a deed dated the fourth day of June in the year Eighteen
hundred and fifty three and that he was raised
in the County aforesaid
                Issued the 7 day of June 1853

State of Maryland    Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel
County do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Anne
Kennard aged about five feet four inches high
Yellow Complexion has no perceptible marks in the
identical person set free by deed of manumission
executed by Thomas Franklin trustee of Mary Shaw
dated the fourteenth day of May in the year
of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and
fifty two and that she was raised in the County
aforesaid
                Issued the 9 day of June 1853

State of Maryland    Anne Arundel County to wit

    I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for
Anne Arundel County do hereby Certify that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof named Sophia Hansen aged about
thirty Seven years about five feet two inches high
