    State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit

I Nicholas H Green Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County do hereby certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Margaret Ann
Downs aged about twenty four years about five feet five
and three quarter inches high dark Complexion
has a small scar on the right arm near the wrist is one
of the issue of negro Hannah manumitted by Henry
C Drury of Elis by deed dated the 22nd February 1822
whose issue was to be free at the age of eighteen years
and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
                  Issued the 22.nd April 1857

State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit

Arundel County do hereby certify that it hath been proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Mary Jane
Cleer aged about twenty two ears about five feet five and
three quarter inches high brown complexion has a small
scar on the right arm near the wrist is one of the issue of
negro Hannah manumitted by Henry C. Drury of Elias
by deed dated the 22.nd day of February 1822 whose
issue is to be free at the age of eighteen years
                  Issued the 22nd April 1857

State of Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit

named Samuel Turner aged about twenty five years
about five feet four and a half inches high dark
complexion has no perceptible Marks was born
free and that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
                  Issued the 29 April 1857
