Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof a negro Girl named Rachel Lee
aged about sixteen years about five feet three
Inches high black Complexion a small scar on
the nose was free born, and raised in the
County aforesaid
       Issued the 27th day of April 1820


Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit:  I hereby
Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
bearer hereof a negro man named Dick (commonly
called Dick Williams) aged about thirty years
about five feet seven Inches high brown
Complexion and marked in the face by the small
pox, is one of the persons manumitted by
John Chew Thomas by deed dated the twelfth
day of February Eighteen hundred and twelve and
that the said negro man named Dick was
raised in the County aforesaid
       Issued the 16th day of May 1820


    Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit 
            I hereby Certify to all whom it doth
or may concern that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a
negro man named John aged about thirty
two years about five feet five Inches high
black Complexion a small scar upon the
nose is one of the persons manumitted by
                                                    John
