161 my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Tom Jones aged about forty five years about five feet seven Inches high bright Complexion, a small scar on the Chin, another near the right temple and one under each year is the Identical person manumitted by William [illegible] by deed dated the fifteenth day of may in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and Eighteen, and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 17th day of July 1820 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a mulatto woman named Deborah Clarke aged about twenty four years about five feet five Inches high bright Complexion no perceptible mark is the Identical person manumitted by Eleanor Clarke by deed dated the twenty second day of June in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 21st day of August 1820 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named John Cooke aged about thirty years about five feet ten Inches high black Complexion has a scar upon the back of the left hand near the thumb is one of the persons manumitted by Richard Stringer by deed dated the twenty fourth day of December in the year one thousand Eight hundred and Eleven and that he was raised in montgomery County Issued the 8th day of Sep 1820 |
