Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Dick aged about twenty Eight years about five feet Eight and an half Inches high black Complexion, has a scar upon the nose, one above the Corner of the left Eye and another upon the breast is one of the persons manumitted by Sarah Meriweather by deed dated the twenty fifth day of march Eighteen hundred and nine, and that he was raised in Anne Arundel County Issued the 26th day of Sept.r 1820 Maryland, Anne Arundel County sc I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may Concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro man named Charles Parker aged about twenty three years about five feet four Inches high brown Complexion a small scar upon the left side of the nose was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 29th day of Sept.r 1820 Maryland Anne Arundel County sc I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Milly Parkes aged about Eighteen years about four feet Eleven Inches high black Complexion a small scar on the forehead was free born and raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 29th day of Sep 1820 |
