is one of the persons manumitted by Hester Hood and Elizabeth Hood by deed dated the second day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 17th day of March 1823 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Norry (calling herself Norry Harrison) aged about twenty five years about five feet Eight and an half Inches high black complexion has a scar upon the upper lip and one in the left eye Brow is one of the persons manumitted by Hester Hood and Elizabeth Hood by deed dated the second day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 17th day of March 1823 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Jenny (calling herself Jenny Sprig) aged about forty four years about five feet and half an Inch high brown complexion has lost the first Joint of the forefinger of her left hand, is one of the persons manumitted by Hester Hood and Elizabeth Hood by deed dated the second day of December in the year of our Lord on thousand eight hundred and twenty two and (that) |
