Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof a negro woman named Charity aged about thirty years about five feet two and an half Inches high brown Complexion no perceptible mark is one of the persons manumitted by Joseph Evans by deed dated the seventh day of march in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and four that her freedom Commenced on the twenty second day of August Eighteen hundred and Eighteen, and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 27th day of August 1823 Maryland, Anne Arundel County to wit: I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Jane Shorter aged about twenty seven years about five feet high brown Complexion has a small scar on the forehead is one of the persons manumitted by Peter Shorter by deed dated the twentieth day of July in the year one thousand Eight hundred and twenty two, and that she was raised in the County aforesaid Issued the 27 day of august 1823 Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit I hereby Certify to all whom it doth or may concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Sarah Shorter aged about twenty one years about five feet ten Inches high brown Complexion, has a scar on the right hand is one |
