I hereby Certify that a negro Woman now present
and applying for a Certificate of freedom named
Martha Ann Caase was born free and raised
in Kent County and is now about 31 yeas old
    May 28th 1860             Mary E Thomas
       Martha is 5 feet 1 inches high of dark complexion
with scar on right shoulder

is now present and applying for a Certificate of
freedom was born free and raised in Kent County
that said she is about 57 years of age and of a
