Tome, from the committee on Finance, to which was referred the bill entitled, an Act for the support of the Gov- ernment; Reported it with amendments, which were read and adopted. Mr. Vickers moved to strike out the name of Thomas A. Spence and insert the name of John R. Franklin; Which was read and adopted, and The bill was read the second time, and by special order the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates. The bill entitled, an Act incorporating the Long Marsh Turnpike company; Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as follow:
