1866.] OF THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES. 337 Were taken up for consideration upon the second reading; Mr. Frazier, (Mr. Markey in the chair) submitted the fol- lowing amendment: Amend by striking out all between the word "power" in the third line and the word "is" in the fourth line, and in- sert the words "in any other manner, than that pointed out in the Constitution." Pending the consideration of which, On motion of Mr. Foster, The resolutions were laid on the table. The bill entitled, an Act to incorporate the Crumpton and Long Marsh Turnpike Company; Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. On motion of Mr. Hazen; The rules were suspended; The bill read the third time, by special order, and passed by yeas and nays as follow:
The said bill was then sent to the Senate. The bill to regulate the -issuing of license for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors, within the town of Cecilton, in Cecil county; |
