to introduce a bill to prevent fishing in Israel's Creek, in
Washington county.

On motion of Mr. Hammond,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to prohibit the manufacture and sale of ex-
plosive oils.

On motion of Mr. Meekins,

Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to report
a bill to change the number of County Commissioners for
Dorchester county.

On motion of Mr. McCreery,

Leave was granted to the Frederick county delegation to
report a bill to repeal and amend and re-enact Section 187 of
Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws for Frederick

county.

On motion of Mr. Standish,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate a gas light company in the town
of Frostburg, Allegany county.

On motion of Mr. Martin,

Leave was granted to the St. Mary's county delegation to
report a bill to increase the number of County Commission-
ers of St. Mary's county.

On motion of Mr, Carroll,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
increase the number of County Commissioners of Baltimore
county.

On motion of Mr. Purnell,

Leave was granted to the Worcester county delegation
and Mr. Gordy, of Wicomico, to introduce a bill amending
the Act incorporating the Worcester Railroad.

Mr. Lankford, (the rules being suspended,) presented a
petition of two hundred and twelve citizens,, of Tangier Dis-
trict, in Somerset county, praying against the repeal of the
Prohibitory Liquor Law in said district.

Which was read and referred to the Somerset delegation,
and Mr. Purnell, of Worcester.

Mr. Harrington, (the rules being suspended,) presented
the petition of Charles Lake and three hundred other citizens
of Dorchester county, asking for a change in the Oyster Law
for said county, allowing citizens of said county to scoop for
oysters in said county.
