respectively as District No. one, or Henderson's Dis-
trict; District No. two, or Greensborough District;
District No. three, or Denton District; District No.
four, or Harmony District, and District No. five, or
Federalsburg District. District No. one, or Hender-
son District, shall consist of the upper portion of

 

what has heretofore been known as District No. one,
or the upper District of Caroline County; to begin
for the boundaries thereof at the crossing by the
public road of Long Marsh Branch, the dividing
line between Caroline and Queen Anne's Counties,
and thence with said public road to Hollings-
worth's corner, thence with the public road to
Gens's shop, thence with the public road to Old
Town Branch, thence with the public road to An-
thony's Mill, thence with the shortest line to
Choptank River, thence with the river to the Dela-
ware line, and thence with the boundaries of Caro-
line County to the place of beginning. District
No. two, or Greensborough District, shall consist of
the remaining portion of what has been heretofore
known as District No. one, or the upper District of
Caroline County. District No. three, or Denton Dis-
trict, shall consist of what has heretofore been
known as District No. two, of Caroline County.
District No. four, or Harmony District, of what has
heretofore been known as District No. three, and Dis-
trict No. five, or Federalsburg District, of what has
heretofore been known as District No. four. All
elections for public officers shall be held in District
No. one, as constituted by this Section, at Hender-
son; in District No, two, at Greensborough; in Dis-
trict No. three, at Denton; in District No. four, at
Harmony, and in District No. five, at Federalsburg;
each and every one of said Election Districts shall
be entitled to all the rights, liberties and privi-
leges held, to be held, or possessed by the other,
and this division and renumbering of Election
Districts shall not invalidate the appointment of
District officers heretofore appointed for the Dis-
tricts of said County by their former divisions and
numbers, but the same shall be valid and effectual
for said Districts by their former division and num-
bers, until otherwise provided for by law.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.
