Said bill, as amended, was read the second time and order-
ed to be engrossed for a third reading.
On motion by Wilson,
The Senate adjourned.
EVENING SESSION.
WEDNESDAY EVENING—8 o'clock, P. M,
The Senate met.
Present the following Senators:
Messrs. President, Blake, Compton, Denson, Downs, Earle,
Fields, Henry, Jump, Stephenson, Sellman, Spencer, Stei-
ner, Timmons, Wilson, Williams—16.
Mr. Denson, from a Select Committee, to which had been
referred
The House bill relating to Policemen in Baltimore City,
providing for the pay of Policemen when sick, reported un-
favorably thereon.
Mr. Blake moved to substitute the said bill for the unfavor-
able report.
The yeas and nays being called, the substitute was reject-
ed, as follows :
