Reported said bill, and On motion by Mr. Tuck, The Committee on Judicial Proceedings was excused from further consideration, and the bill laid on the table. Mr. Earle reported favorably, on The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 27, of Article LXXXI., of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Revenue and Taxes," and to re-enact the same with amend- ments, so as to make a uniform time for levying the State tax in this State. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably, The House bill entitled an Act making further appropria- tion for the support of the Government for the year to end the 31st of December, 1872. Which was read the second time. Also, reported favorably, on The House bill entitled an Act making- further appropria- tion lor the support of the Government for the year ending the 31st of December, 1872. Which was read the second time. Mr. Crawford, from a Select Committee, to which had been referred The House bill entitled an Act relating to the granting of donations to Wicomico county, for the use of academies and schools in said county. Reported said bill, and, On motion by Mr. Crawford, Said bill was referred to the Committee on Education. The Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Article XXXVII., of the Code of Public General Law*, title 'Evidence," and to be numbered in due order after the last section thereof, Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third reading. The Senate bill entitled an Act granting the United States of America further addition to the site of the Naval School at Annapolis, and citing the jurisdiction over the same, |
