Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of
the Annapolis and Elk Ridge Railroad Company, by author-
izing said Company tor extend its road to the Harbor of An-
napolis,
Way read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
Mr. Fields moved to reconsider the vote by which the un-
favorable report of the Committee to which had been referred
the House bill relating to Policemen in Baltimore City, was
concurred in.
Which was adopted.
On motion by Mr. Blake,
Said bill was then laid on the table.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend section 101, Ar-
ticle XXXVIII., of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Fees of Officers," as amended by chapter 441, of the Acts
of 1870, by repealing and re-enacting the same as amended,
Being on a third reading,
On motion by Mr. Stephenson,
Was ordered to lie over.
The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chesa-
peake Immigration, Land and Improvement Company of
the State of Maryland,
Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.
The House bill entitled an Act to authorize and require
the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Baltimore county to re-
cord such Chancery and Inquisition cases decided in said
Court as involve title to land, and which have not been
heretofore recorded,
Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays, as fol-
lows:
AFFIRMATIVE.
