egates.
The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and de"
livered the following bills :
The House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 46, 47
65 and 56, of Article LXXV., of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Practice and Process ;" also, Act of 1870, chap-
ter 420, entitled an Act to amend the third section of Article
LXXV., by substituting the following.
Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
The House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 191, of
Article IV., of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of
Baltimore," sub-title "Cruelty to Animals."
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
The House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 2 and 3,
of Article LIII., of the Code of Public General Laws, rela-
ting to Landlord and Tenant," and to re-enact the same
with amendments.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
The House bill entitled an Act to make valid and to carry
into effect the bequest, containing the last will and testament
of Isaac Sterling, late of Somerset county, deceased, in favor
of the Trustees of Asbury M. E. Church, near Crisfield, in
Somerset county.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
The House bill entitled an Act to add additional sections
to the Code of Public -Local Laws, Article III., title "Balti-
more County," in relation to trespass.
Which was read the first time, and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.
The House bill entitled an Act to amend Article LIII,,, of
