Bridge Turnpike Company of all that part of their
road from Union Bridge, in Carroll county, to Daniel
Wolf's in Frederick county, to the Liberty Johns-
ville and Pipe Creek Turnpike Road Company, be
and the same is hereby made valid, and that the pro-
perty in said road and the franchises of the said Union
Bridge Turnpike Company, he and the same is vested
in the Liberty Johnsville and Pipe Creek Turnpike
Road Company, as fully and to the same extent as
the same was conferred upon the said Union Bridge
Turnpike Company.
SEC. 2. And be if further enacted. That the said
Liberty Johnsville and Pipe Creek Turnpike Road
'Company are hereby authorized to erect gates and
charge and take toll on the said part of said turnpike
road so transferred, as allowed by law to said Union
Bridge Turnpike Road Company, and the said com-
pany are hereby vested with all the powers and
.charged with the same duties, relative to the said part
of said road, as were granted to and required from
the said Union Bridge Turnpike Company by their
charter.
SEC. 3. And he; it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the day of it passage.

CHAPTER 21.
AN ACT to confirm the bequest of Reverend James
Dolan, deceased, to the Young Catholic's Friend
Society of the City of Baltimore, for the purpose
of establishing a Children's Aid Society.
WHEREAS, the Reverend James Dolan, late of the
City of Baltimore, deceased, did, by his last will and
testament, duly probated by the Orphans' Court for
Baltimore city, and duly recorded in the Office of
the Register of Wills of said city, bequeath the one-
