CHAPTER 25.
AN ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of
Dorchester county to reassess the real estate of
Vachel Keene, lying in Draw Bridge district in
said county.
SECTION 1. Be It enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the County Commissioners of Dor-
chester county, are hereby authorized and empowered, if they so determine in their Judgment and
discretion, to reassess the real estate of Vachel Keene.

being the same lands purchased by the said Vachel
Keene at the vendue of William C. Hoffington.
SEC. 2. And he it enacted. That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 26.
AN ACT to repeal chapter one hundred and eighty-
nine, passed at the January session, eighteen hun-
dred and seventy, relating to Queen Anne's,
Dorchester and Somerset counties, and for re-
imbursing owners of sheep killed by dogs, com-
monly known as the " dog law."
SECTION 1. Be if enacted by the General Assembly (if
Maryland, That chapter one hundred and eighty-
nine, passed at January session, eighteen hundred
and seventy, relating to Queen Anne's, Dorchester
and Somerset counties, for reimbursing owners of
sheep for damages sustained by them, in the killing
or injuring of sheep by dogs, be and the same is
hereby repealed.
