ART. 19. ] SOMERSET COUNTY.

But the said town commissioners shall have power,
on cause shown, to remit said fine.

114. That the limits of said town of Princess Anne
shall be the same as that laid down and described by
Levin Handy, Littleton Long, Sr., and Nathaniel
Dixon, Jr., by virtue of a commission issued by the
county commissioners of Somerset county, to them
directed, dated fourth of March, eighteen hundred
and sixty-two, which commission and return are
recorded in liber L. W. number seven, folios five
hundred and six, five hundred and seven, and five
hundred and eight of the records in the office of the
clerk of the circuit court for Somerset county, and
the commissioners may enlarge the same from time
to time, as they may think necessary.

In force from March 13, 1867.

RETAILERS.

1865, c. 60 repeals sections 139, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 14S, 146, 147 and 148,
relating to retailers of liquors. In force from March 18, 1865.

SALISBURY.

Bee 1867, c. 377 relating to the town of Salisbury under Public Local Laws, Art.
XXII, Wicomico county.

SCHOOLS.

1861, c. 15 repeals section 198 and substitutes the following:

198. The interest arising from any school funds
apportioned by the state, to Somerset county, or any
such funds as may belong to said county, shall be
paid directly to the treasurer of said board of school
commissioners, and the balance necessary for the sup-
port of public education, beyond any fees for tuition,
which may be received as hereinbefore provided, shall
be levied and collected by taxation upon the assess-
