This Indenture made the one & twentieth day of november in y Second year of the
reigne of or: Soveraigne Lord & Lady William & Mary by the grace of god of England Scotland
ffrance & Ireland King & Queene defendrs. of y faith &c & in the year of our Lord God one
Thousand Six hundred and Ninety Betweene John Rickards of Somr:Set County in y
Province of Maryland Joynr: & Elizabeth his wife of the one part And Michaell
Dishroone of the County & Province aforesaid plantr: of the other part Witnesseth That
whereas the Lord Baltemore by his Deed of grant undr: the great Seale used in the Said
Province of Maryland for granting of Land there bearing date the Seaventh day of
ffebruary in y Seaventh year of his Lopps: Dominion Annoq. Dom: 1681 did for the
Considerations there (in) mentioned grant unto John Rickards aforesaid all that parcell of
Land Called Woulld have had more Lyeing on the east Side of Chesepeake bay on the South
Side of Rakawakin river below Tondetanke beginning at a marked hiccory Standing by A
marsh Side being a Corner tree of a parcell of Land formerly Surveyd for Jno: Westlock
thence with a Line drawne Southeast one hundred & fifty perches thence with a Line
drawne Northeast thirty three perches thence with a line drawne North by west halfe a pointe
westerly one hundred thirty & four perches thence with a Line drawn Southwest Ninety Two
perches & from thence with a right Line drawne to y first bounder Containing & laid
out for fifty acres more or Lesse Together with all rights Proffitts & bennefitts thereunto
belonging royall Mines excepted To have & to hold the Sd: parcell of Land to him the
Sd: John Rickards his heires and assignes for Ever under Such rents Covenants Limitacons
& exceptions as in & by the Sd: Deed of grant recourse being thereunto had more fully & more
at Lardge it may & doth appeare now This Indenture Wittnesseth yt the above
named John Rickards & Elizabeth his wife for the Consideracon of Twelve hundred
pounds of tobacco in hand paid by the within named Michaell Dishroone before
the ensealing & delivery hereof whereof and wherewith y Sd: John Rickards & Elizabeth
his wife doth acknowledge themselves to be fully & wholy Satisfied & paid & doth
of & for every part & parcell thereof acquitt & dischardge the Sd: Michaell Dishroone
his heires executors & admrs.& for Ever by these presents hath given graunted bargained Sold
feofed & Confirmed And doth by these presents fully & absolutely give grant alliene
bargaine Sell enfeofe & Confirm unto the Sd: Michaell Dishroone & to his heires &
assignes for Ever All that the aforesaid Tract or parcell of Land aforementioned Called
Woulld have had more Together with all & Singular the roomes Cellers Sollets
halls parlours Chambers houses houseings Courts yards gardens orchards Closes
woods under woods Timber & Timberlike trees waies easemts: fishing places & other
appurtenances Emoluments whatsoever unto the Sd: parcell of land & pr:misses
or any of theire appurtenant belonging or appertaining had used demised or ( )
as part parcell or member thereof or as thereunto or to any part thereof belonging
or appertaining as also the Sd: John Rickards & Elizabeth his wife for themselves
their heires executors. & admrs: hath granted bargained & Sold & by these pr:Sents
doth give grant bargaine & Sell unto y Sd: Michaell Dishroone his heirs & assignes
for Ever all & Singular Letters Pattents exemplifications of fines & recoveries --
Chierographies of fines Charters Deedes Indentures Counterpaines writings
Conveyances Evidances Excripts & Minuments whatsoever Concerning y pr:misses
only hereby mentioned to be bargained & Sold or onely any part thereof & wth now
are in y hands Custody possession of y Sd: Jno: Rickards or Elizabeth his wife or any ~
