Nameing my accusers or my accusation both which I suppose it ought to have done, the Law in reason not desireing to

Extort an answer from any person without advisement for if it be allowed in Causes of fellony & murder, may be well

allowed in lesser Causes. And if this be not answer Sufficient, I must Submitt to your Worps pleasures As to the Complaint

of the Orphants. I was allwayes willing to be Shutt of it and now is willing to Surrender the whole except my owne

which is the third of the whole & will now pay ym two thirds if they give me bond to Save me harmeless from those that

of Twelve hundred pounds of good Sound Merchantable leaf tob in Caske due to be paid & delivered unto the sd ffrancis

Makemie or his Certain Attorney at or before the tenth of October next ensueing upon Some Convenient Landing apointed

by Act of Assembly on Pocomoke River it being for a valuable Consideration by me in hand allready received in Witness

hereof I have hereunto Sett my hand & fixed my Seal this fourth day of March Annoq Dom. 1692/3 .
