The Condicon of this Obligation is Such that if ye above bound Thomas Dixon he his Heirs Extors or

Admrs they or any of them doe forthwith build or Cause to be built One Suficient good Twenty foot Square house

or Room with a Chimney therein well fitted & finished by all Convenient Speed at ye propper Cost & Charge of him

the Said Thomas Dixon his Heirs &ca which sd house or Room to be for ye propper use benefit & behoof of her ye Said

Mary dureing her Naturall life, as also that he the Said Thomas Dixon &ca. Shall find & allow to the Said Mary One Sufficient

Servant to attend her the Said Mary dureing her life as Said with Sufficient of entertainmt of Meat drinke washing lodging

apparell or other necessaries fitting & Convenient for the Said Mary dureing her the sd Mary’s Natural life as aforesd As also

that he the Said Thomas Dixon doe well & truely prforme the last Will & Testament of the sd Deceased Ambrose Dixon

So far forth as is to be fulfilled and the Law require. Then this Said Obligation to be void & of none effect otherwise to

                Know all Men by these prsents that Wee ffrancis Jenckins & Wm Cornish Gents of the County of Somerset &

                Province of Maryland doe acknowledge Confess ourselves to owe and are indebted unto Lawrence Crawford

                of the Same County and Province aforesd the Sum of Twenty one thousand seaven hundred & fourty pounds of

                Tobacco good & Merchantable which wee promised to pay to the Said Crawford or his Certain attorney or to his Heirs

                Extors Admrs or Assigns and for the true performance of the same to be well & truely paid we bind us and each of us

                our Heirs Extors and Admrs joyntly & Severally in & for ye whole to the Said Crawford his Heirs Extors & Admrs for[in]

                by these prsents. In Testimony whereof wee have hereunto Sett our hands & Seals this 13th day of Novmber in the

                Sixth year of their Maties Reign Wm & Mary King & Queen Over England &ca. Annog Domini 1694.

The Condition of this Obligation is Such that whereas on ye 13th day of 9ber Anno Domini 1694 Two Attachments was

- - - - - was by the Justices of Somerset County in Court Sitting awarded agt ye abovesd Lawrence Crawford goods &ca. to answer

unto ffrancis Jenckins for the value abovesd (viz) for Twenty thousand Seven hundred & fourty pounds of Tobacco Debt and

Cost as by the Said Order aforesd & Record of the County aforesd at large makes appear. Therefore if in Case the Said absent dft

Lawrernce Crawford Shall within One year and a day to be accompted from the day of the attachment to be awarded Come in either

person or by his lawfull Attorney authorized & appear to the Said Original accons agt ye sd ffrancis Jenckins and make

appear that the Said Plaintiffe hath been & is Satisfied of his forsd Debt or demands in the sd Accon or accons aforesaid or

Shall otherwise in Court discount or Barr the Said Plaintiffe of the Same. And that the said Plaintiffe make restitution according

to Law That then this Obligation to be void & of None effect otherwayes to be and remain in full power force and vertue.

                each of us our Heirs Extors & Admrs firmly by these presents in Testimony whereof we have hereunto
