Andrew Poole Orphant of Thomas Poole was this day in Open Court by the Justices thereof put an Apprentice to Richard Davis till sd Andrew attaine to the age of One & twenty years the sd Davis promiseing to learn sd - Andrew to read and to give him a Heifer three years before he is [free] . ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

mr Arnold Elzey was this day Sworn in Court to the New Comission as ye dedimus did direct . ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Yesterday The Sheriff made return of these following Justices which were Sumd to appear this Court according to an Order dated ye 8th day of Janry last and there only appd mr Dashiel mr Bozman mr Horsey & mr Elzey wch were Sworn as abovesd.
Upon Motion made to the Worll. Justices abovesd by John Kellam, Concerning Worke done by him to Nauswungo Bridge &ca It was then Considered & Ordered by ye Justices that John Porter Hough Porter & Rowland Beavins Consult wth Majr William Whittington about sd worke and Bridge and View the Same and make Report thereon to the next County [Court] to be held the Second Tuesday in March next . ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Robert Atkins late Servant to Richard Ackworth this day produced a Coppy from the Records of this County bearing date ano 1686 (viz) June ye 8th ye day upon which sd Robert was judged in Court to be thirteen years old and he the sd Robt affirming that he Came into this Country in 8ber or November before sd judgmt yet the sd Ackworth said that he had not Served him nine years till Next March which being Considered by the Justices aforesd it was by them Ordered and with the Consent of sd Ackworth that the sd Robt be free and have his Corn & Clothes as pr Act &ca. alias Executio
Upon Petion of Nicholas Cornewell to the Worll Court abovesd, as also an account agt his Servant Edward Hogg of Sixty one dayes that he the Sd Hogg had runaway from his sd Master aforesd, which sd runaway time he the Said Hogg did in Open Court Confesse too. And therefore the Court doeth Order that he the sd Hogg make good the foresd Runaway time according to Act of Assembly alias Excu.
