PRIVATE ACTS. 1441

Whereas said legislative fund was exhausted before said
work was completed, and therefore the said Robert Moss, Sec-
retary, and the said King Brothers, State Printers, have not
been paid for said work; and

Whereas said work and printing is now completed; there-
fore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Comptroller of the State Treasury be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to draw his warrant on the
Treasurer of the State in favor of Robert Moss for the sum of
six hundred dollars, and in favor of King Brothers for the sum
of fifteen hundred dollars, being at the rate of $1.50 per page
for printing and binding, said book making one thousand
pages, said amount to be paid to King Brothers upon presenta-
tion of certificate that work has been completed as required
by one general order.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this bill shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 452.

AN ACT to amend the charter of the German-American Fire
Insurance Company of Baltimore City, a corporation
created under the general laws of this State, and whose
charter was amended by an Act of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1904, chapter 209, by providing for the number
of directors of said corporation to be increased.
SECTION 4. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land) That the charter of the German-American Fire Insur-
ance Company of Baltimore City, a corporation created under
the general laws of this State and which charter was
amended by an Act of the General Assembly of Maryland of
1904, chapter 209, be and the same is hereby further amended
so as to read as follows:

SEC. 5. The affairs of this corporation shall be managed by
a board of directors consisting of not less than four or more
than twenty-five directors, to be elected annually at such time
and place as may be provided for in the by-laws of said cor-
poration.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That all other powers
possessed by said corporation under its certificate of incorpora-
tion, and the amendment thereto made by chapter 209 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland of 1904, are hereby
ratified and confirmed.
