       or Parcels of Land adjoining to the Said Dwelling Plantation and now
       in the Possession and Occupation of the Said John Cooke together with all the
       Messuage Buildings Houses outhouses and other the Appurtenances to
       the same in any wise belonging or Appurtaining as also the following slaves
       Nacey Jenny James Phillicia Nacey Boy Lucy Rose Davis Flora Scott
       Pegg Charles Ben Harry Will Moll Frank Jemboy Benboy Sarah with
       their and each of their increase to have and to hold the Said Several Tracts or
       Parcels of Land with their and each of their Appurtenances and Slaves afores.d
       unto them the Said Clement Hill Basil Warring and Henry Rozier their
       and each of their heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever
       Provided always and upon Condition that if the Said John Cooke his Heirs
       Executors Administrators or Assigns shall well and truly pay or Cause to
       be paid unto the Said Benjamin Tasker Esq.r the aforesaid sum of
       three hundred and fifty pounds Sterling or otherwise save harmless
       and keep indemnified the Said Clement Hill Basil Warring and Henry
       Rozier or either of them their or either of their Heirs Executors or
       Administrators of and from all Bills Bonds or Obligations which
       they the said Clement Hill Basil Warring and Henry Rozier have
       heretofore jointly or Severally entered into with the said John Cooke
       for the Account and in behalf of the said John Cooke Then this present
       Indenture and all the Estates hereby Granted shall Cease Determine
       and be utterly void and of none Effect any thing herein before contained
       to the Contrary notwithstanding In Witness whereof the Parties have
       hereunto Interchangeably Set their Hands and Seals the Day and
       Year first above written

                      John Darnall

                         On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written to wit
