304) said Lloyd Buchanan his Heirs and Assigns to the only proper Use and Behoof of him the Said Lloyd Buchanan his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to or for no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever And the said Charles Carroll for himself his Heirs Executors ^and^ Administrators doth hereby covenant promise and grant to and with the afsd Lloyd Buchanan his Heirs and Assigns That ^he^ the Said Charles Carroll and his Heirs the aforesaid Tract or parcel of Land and Premisses with all and every its Appurtenances unto the said Lloyd Buchanan his Heirs and Assigns against him the said Charles Carroll and his Heirs and all Persons lawfully claiming or to claim by from under or in Trust for them or any of them shall and will Warrant and for ever defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the Parties aforesaid to these Presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Affixed their seals the Day and Year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered the words (in hand paid) being first interlined Cha Carroll Seal in the Presence of John Reresby Geo Steuart On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written to wit Received on the Day and Year first within Mentioned of and from the within named Lloyd Buchanan the sum of one hundred and fifty two pounds Sterling Money being the Consideration £152 Within expressed Witness Cha Carroll John Reresby Geo Steuart 15.th Day of Sept.r 1758 Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Charles (Carroll) |
