thereof and as shown on the aforementioned plats, (5) N. 00° 26' 13" W.
157.64 feet thence, (6) N. 89° 33' 47" E. 25.00 feet to a point 30 feet
West of centerline Station 8+00 thence, (7) N. 00° 26' 13" W. 200.00 feet
thence, (8) N. 89° 33' 47" E. 30.00 feet to centerline Station 10 + 00 to a
point at the end of 439.66 feet on the fourth or South 3½° W. 126.12
perch line of WIP No. 6, Folio 129 and running with said line reversed,
(9) N. 00° 26' 13" W. 439.66 feet thence with the centerline of Oppos-
sumtown Pike and part of the third or South 3¾° E. 53 perch line of the
aforementioned deed reversed, (10) N. 07° 26' 59" W. 626.92 feet thence
leaving said roadway and running to exclude that tract, or parcel of land
intended to be conveyed to Eastern District of Christian and Missionary
Alliance, Inc. and that tract previously conveyed thereto October 18, 1963
by deed recorded at Liber 692, Folio 414, (11) S. 80° 34' 00" W. 436.28
feet thence, (12) N. 07° 26' 59" W. 247.61 feet to a point at the end of
1430.22 feet on the second or North 83¾° E. 112.8 perch line of WIP No.
6, Folio 129 and continuing with said line reversed, (13) S. 80° 34' 00" W.
1430.22 feet to the place of beginning, containing 77.399 acres of land,
more or less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED, that
the persons residing in said area and properties located therein are in-
cluded for all purposes and subject to the provisions of the Charter and
Ordinances of said municipal corporation in said area as fully as if said
area had been originally or subsequently included within the boundaries
of said municipal corporation.
The annexation is to take effect on the 18th day of October, 1971,
and all persons and property, real or personal, within the area sought to
be annexed shall be subject to municipal assessment and taxation for the
fiscal year 1972-1973, and for each and every year thereafter at the cur-
rent rates of said municipal corporation.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND OR-
DAINED BY THE AUTHORITY aforesaid, that the Mayor of the City of
Frederick shall give notices of this resolution by posting an exact copy
of the same in the City Hall and by providing for the publication of the
same in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Frederick not
fewer than four times at not less than weekly intervals after the adop-
tion of this resolution.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, ENACTED AND ORDAINED
by the authority aforesaid, that the Mayor of the City of Frederick shall
call a public hearing on the passage of this Resolution, said hearing to be
held at 7:30 P.M. on the 2nd day of September, 1971, at the public meet-
ing room in the City Hall Building, located on North Market Street, in the
City of Frederick.
