SUBJECT, in addition, to any and all other easements, rights of way
or convenants of record.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the Mayor and City Council of
Gaithersburg, the date of introduction of this Resolution is the 15th day of
April 1968, and shall become effective forty-five (45) days following its
adoption unless a prompt petition for referendum thereon shall be filed
as permitted by law, and provided further that the notice required by law
shall be published in The Gaithersburg Gazette a newspaper of general cir-
culation in the City of Gaithersburg, one each in the weeks of April 4, 11,
18, and 25, 1968, said notice to provide for a public hearing to be held
May 20, 1968, at 8 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Mayor and City
Council, Civic Center, Gaithersburg, Maryland.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of Gaithers-
burg that promptly after this resolution shall become effective the City
Manager shall send copies of said resolution to the following:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City
of Gaithersburg that the property described above and persons residing
therein, if any, shall after the effective date of this resolution be subject
to all of the laws, ordinances and resolutions of the City of Gaithersburg,
Maryland.

ADOPTED by the City Council this 3rd day of May, 1971.

This is to certify that the foregoing resolution was introduced by the
City Council on the 1st day of April, 1968 and adopted by the City Council
in public meeting assembled on the 3rd day of May, 1971.

Resolution No. R-18-71

A Resolution authorizing the annexation by the City of Gaithers-
burg of approximately 82.4244 acres of land located adjacent to the
present corporate boundaries.

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the City of Gaithersburg have
received written petitions requesting the enlargement of the corporate
boundaries of the City of Gaithersburg, so as to include additional areas
encompassing approximately 82.4244 acres of land located adjacent to the
present corporate boundaries and adjacent thereto, and

WHEREAS, the signatures of the said Petition of Consent have been
verified and it has been ascertained that the persons signing said petition
are owners of not less than twenty-five percent (25%) of the assessed
valuation of the real property located in the area to be annexed and
