2154                               Municipal Charters

represent at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the persons who reside in
the area to be annexed who are registered as voters in County elections.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council
of the City of Gaithersburg that the Charter of the City of Gaithersburg be
and it is hereby amended by adding a new section thereto to read as
follows:

"The corporate boundaries of the City of Gaithersburg be and they
hereby are enlarged by including therein the following areas:

AREA 1

Beginning for the same at a stone found along the western outline
of Block A, of Plat 2 Diamond Courts as shown and recorded in Plat Book
84 Plat 8784 among the land records of Montgomery County, Maryland,
and located along the rear line of Lot 32, Block A, of said Plat at a point
north 46° 14' 54" west 19.78 feet from the southwest corner thereof,
thence leaving said outline of Block A, which is also the present city limit
line of Gaithersburg.

1.    South 42° 43' 43" west 1482.55 feet, thence

2.    South 89° 04' 43" west 1178.41 feet to a stone found on the east
side of Longdraft Road, the said east side the 3 following lines

3.    North 07° 55' 17" west 264.00 feet

4.    North 01° 55' 17" west 660.00 feet

5.    North 18° 04' 43" east 311.81 feet, thence leaving said road

6.    South 76° 20' 33" east 881.97 feet
7. North 17° 26' 27" east 57.57 feet

8.    North 60° 33' 27" east 105.27 feet

9.    North 20° 08' 27" east 226.17 feet

10.    South 46° 56' 33" east 196.79 feet

11.    South 63° 12' 53" east 71.84 feet

12.    North 30° 25' 32" east 643.05 feet

13.    South 71° 34' 30" east 232.00 feet to intersect the aforesaid west-
ern outline of Block A at a point south 20° 51' 17" west. 33.13 feet from the
common rear corners of Lots 38, 39 and 48 of said Block A, thence with
part of the aforesaid western outline of Block A, the 2 following lines

14.    South 20° 51' 17" east 428.37 feet

15.    South 46° 14' 54" east 226.02 feet to the place of beginning, con-
taining 51.4682 acres

Including therein a strip 150 feet wide crossing the above described
parcel and being the same land as described in a conveyance from Sarah E.
Clagett to PEPCO in Liber 2796 Folio 332 containing 4.979 acres.

Being all of the same land as intended and described in a conveyance
to Sarah E. Clagett recorded in Liber 931 Folio 260.
