Section 13-352.26. Restaurants.

Restaurants shall be permitted in Maritime Group C Districts
provided that such uses shall be accessory to a marina operation,
and said marina shall have a land to water ratio of not less than
one and one-quarter (1¼) to one (1).

Section 13-352.27. Rifle, Pistol, Skeet and Archery Ranges.

(A) ALL USES SET FORTH IN SUBSECTIONS (B) AND
(C) OF THIS SECTION SHALL HAVE THE WRITTEN
APPROVAL OF THE ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY POLICE
DEPARTMENT.

(B) Indoor, rifle, pistol, and archery ranges shall be per-
mitted in C3 General Commercial Districts and C4 Commercial
Districts, provided:

(1)    Such use shall not draw vehicular traffic to or through local
streets in adjacent residential areas.

(2)    Such use shall not be located within four hundred feet
(400') of a Residential District.

(3)    Separate vehicular entrances and exits shall be provided,
not less than fifty feet (50') apart, and not less than fifty feet (50')
from any street intersection.

(4)    No automobile parking space shall be located within any
required setback area, nor within fifty feet (50') of any lot line.

(5)    A minimum lot area of one (1) acre shall be provided.

(6)    The Zoning Hearing Officer may prescribe appropriate con-
ditions and safeguards to minimize adverse effects to the surrounding
area (including requirements for soundproofing, construction of bar-
riers, use of baffling, or other safety devices.)

(7)    No sales or consumption of alcoholic beverages shall be per-
mitted on the property.

(8)     Such use may be in conjunction with a bowling alley.

(C) Outdoor rifle, pistol, skeet and archery ranges shall
be permitted in C4 Highway Commercial Districts and RA and Rl
Residential Districts, provided:

(1)    The adjacent areas shall be predominantly undeveloped.

(2)     Special Exception shall be granted for a period of three
(3) years, subject to renewal.

(3)    No sales or consumption of alcoholic beverages shall be
permitted on the property.

(4)    For rifle and pistol ranges:

(i) The area between the firing point and target pit shall be
baffled overhead and either baffled or fenced on all sides in order
that a projectile fired from any position shall not escape the range
area.
