WHEREAS, not less than twenty-five (25%) percent of the owners of the
assessed valuation of the real property described below have petitioned The
Commissioners of Poolesville to annex said property, and,

WHEREAS, said parcel of land is contiguous to the existing municipal
boundaries of the Town of Poolesville, and,

WHEREAS, the petition for annexation was duly advertised in accordance with
Article 23A Section 19 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Ed.), and,

WHEREAS, there are no persons who reside in the area described below, and,

WHEREAS, the Planning Board for the Commissioners of Poolesville
recommended the approval of the said petition for reasons stated in an opinion
addressed to The Commissioners of Poolesville which is on file with the Town
Clerk,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by The Commissioners of
Poolesville that the Resolution proposing a change of boundaries as requested by
the Petition be approved, and further

BE IT RESOLVED that the existing boundaries of the municipal corporation
known as "The Commissioners of Poolesville", being the Town of Poolesville,
Maryland, be, and they are hereby extended, to include an area as follows:
