The State of Maryland Prince Georges County Sca

       I hereby certify that the Bearer hereof a
       Black Man by the name of Will about
       forty two years of Age about five
       feet six inches high and having defect
       in his eyes is a free Man being
       manumitted by William Beanes
       by Deed bearing date the twenty
       fifth day of January eighteen hundred
       and nineteen and duly
       recorded in Prince Georges County
       Court on the eighth day of February
       in the year aforesaid

                            Given under my hand
                            and seal of Office
                            this 27.th day of February
                            1819
