            I hereby certify that the bearer hereof a Black
       Woman by the name of Poll about forty six
       years old five feet five inches and three quarters
       of an inch high having two moles near her
       right cheek bone who was raised in the county
       aforesaid in the family of the late Robert
       Waters is a free woman and obtained her freedom
       from the said Robert Waters by deed bearing
       date the twenty seventh day of February
       seventeen hundred and ^ninety^ eight duly executed and
