MUNICIPAL CHARTERS

COMMISSIONERS OF OXFORD

RESOLUTION PROPOSING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TOWN
OF OXFORD, AND PROPOSING AMENDMENT OF THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF
OXFORD TO SET FORTH A NEW CORPORATE BOUNDARY.

WHEREAS, there is certain property which abuts the Town of
Oxford, Maryland, known locally as "the park", which is not
currently within the boundaries of the Town of Oxford, and

WHEREAS, twenty-five percent of the residents, registered
voters, and owners of the assessed valuation of said property
have requested that said property be annexed to the Town of
Oxford, and

WHEREAS, said property is already served by Town services,
to wit, water and sewer.

Oxford, Talbot County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition).

ANNEXATION RESOLUTION - 88-2

RESOLUTION of the Board of Commissioners of the Town of
Perryville, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XIE of
the Constitution of Maryland and Section 19 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition - 1981 Replacement
Volume), for the enlargement of the corporate boundaries of said
Town by the annexation of certain land contiguous to and
adjoining the existing corporate area.
